What do I need to register to bid?
All you need is a name and email address which you input every time you bid.
How do I bid?
From the home page, click on the auction link of your choice. Scroll through the desired auctions.
Click the “Bid Now” button of the item to go to the bid page. Enter your name and email and the bid amount. You must bid in $5.00 increments. Click BID to submit your bid for this amount.
The auction program is set up to AUTO-BID for you. You can bid an amount that is the maximum amount that you are willing to bid. The program will bid the next BID INCREMENT on your behalf against all other bidders up to the maximum amount of your bid and no further. At the close of auction, the highest prior entered maximum bid will be the winning bidder. (Tip: Consider auto bidding the highest amount you are willing to pay for an item)
Mary’s bid is at $75 at 7:55 pm
John manually bids $80 at 7:59 pm
Mary has pre-entered a max auto bid higher than $80, the system will automatically replace John’s bid of $80 with a matching bid of $80 from Mary who will be the winner
Suggestion is to initially or toward the end of the auction bid the highest amount you are willing to pay for the item
